In May, Matt Janik and Erika Donaldson from Fringe Digital Marketing Agency came and spoke at May’s Business Conversation about ways small businesses can boost their website and social media presence.
The room was full of members and nonmembers looking for tips and advice on what they can do better, what new things they need to create, and more.
When it comes to Facebook, create a variety of postings.
Those tips were:
Don’t only post your specials, but share pictures and a little about some of your staff and customers.
Make sure to have a blog that is on your website and updated the same time everyday.
Make sure you have a Google Plus account linked on your website and other social media pages. Your website will pop up on Google’s search engine higher than without.
Take video of speaking engagements and get those posted on YouTube and your social media pages all linking one another. On YouTube, in the description area, put links to all your website and social media pages, any as many keywords as you can that will bring up your video when folks are searching.
